"A MAN OF VALOR"

THE STORY OF THOMAS



  Thomas’s parents migrated to America right before he was born. After his father‘s passing, his grandmother relocated with him to New York. Thomas loved his parents and was an obedient and respectful child. Once of age, he decided to join the Air Force, where he became an officer in the security forces.

  One day, Thomas received a call about a domestic dispute. He got in his car and headed towards the home. Upon arrival, he sees a husband and a wife fighting. He immediately engages in apprehending the husband. Once the husband is in cuffs, he proceeds to the cop car. Before Thomas can make it to the car, he hears something behind him. He turns around and sees the wife with a gun, but before he can act, she shoots him in the head. 

  Thomas drops to the ground, and the husband yells at the wife. The neighbors call the cops again, and Thomas is rushed to the hospital. He survives but now has a glass eye. Thomas married and had a daughter; he then became a foster parent. 



"A REFELECTION OF YOU"

THE STORY OF TANYA


   Tanya was raised in a single-parent household. She always watched her little sister while her mother was at work or out with a new man. At a young age, Tanya’s mother went away and never returned. So, Anytime you saw Tanya, you saw her little sister, Mini. At a very young age, everyone noticed how obsessive Tanya would get when she liked a boy, similar to how her mother was when it came to men. 

  Fast forward to Tanya’s adulthood, she had children and frequented church. She met a new man and became pregnant. The two split early in the pregnancy, and fearful of being alone, she decided to go to her ex’s home. Her ex was not happy to see her and wanted her to leave the house immediately. A verbal argument quickly turned into a physical altercation. 

  Tanya’s screaming she wants to stay, but he’s yelling at her to go. The neighbors called the cops about the disturbance, and Tanya was found unresponsive and alone. She was airlifted due to her injuries. After a week, Tanya and her baby passed away. Tanya was only 23 years old.



"WALKING WITH MY FEAR"

THE STORY OF TESSA



  Tessa was a gorgeous and brilliant young girl; her body developed early and captured the attention of older men. This always scared Tessa, and she was always vocal about her fear. She started dating in middle school and always told her friends," Never break up with a guy. He might kill you; just do something crazy so he breaks up with you."

  But now Tessa is an adult; she's married with children and living in a beautiful home. Things haven't been going well, and she's ready to leave. She tries speaking to her husband early in the morning before the kids are up, but things escalate, so she decides to take a walk. Still upset about the conversation, her husband gets in the car and follows her down the street. He catches up with her, rolls down his window, and yells her name. 

  She stops walking and looks through the window; her husband then proceeds to pull out a gun and shoots her multiple times. He shoots himself in the face when he realizes what he's done. Tessa passed away before the ambulance arrived. Tessa was only 24 years old.
